How to compare house cleaning quotes
Two quotes for "a cleaning" can describe very different jobs. Before you compare prices, make sure you're comparing the same scope, the same protections and the same expectations for what happens if something goes wrong.
Get the checklist in writing
Ask each company for its room-by-room checklist. Standard cleans usually cover surfaces, floors, kitchens and baths; inside the oven, fridge, cabinets and windows are often add-ons. Pricing may be flat, hourly or by home size, so ask how it's calculated.
Insurance, bonding and who's in your home
Ask for a certificate of general liability insurance, whether the company carries a bond, and whether cleaners are employees or subcontractors. Ask what screening, if any, they do. Georgia doesn't license house cleaners, so these questions are your vetting.
Supplies, re-cleans and cancellations
Find out who supplies products and equipment, whether they can use fragrance-free or EPA Safer Choice products, how a missed spot is handled (many offer a re-clean window), and what happens if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Three steps. No cost to you.
Clean Pros ATL is a referral service, not a contractor. Partner companies pay for referrals, so the request is free for you.

Questions, answered
Is this service free?
Yes. There's no cost to you to request help. Cleaning companies in our network pay for referrals. You only pay the company you hire, and you're never obligated to hire anyone.
Are you a house cleaning company?
No. We're an independent referral service. We pass your request to an independent, insured house cleaning company serving your area, and they contact you directly.
How fast will someone contact me?
Most companies reach out within a business day or two. If you need someone this week, say so in your request. Late spring, summer moving season and the holidays are busy, so scheduling can take longer then.
Do house cleaners need a license in Georgia?
Georgia doesn't require a state license for house cleaning. That makes your own vetting important: ask for a certificate of general liability insurance, whether the company is bonded, whether cleaners are employees or subcontractors, and what screening it does.
What's the difference between insured and bonded?
General liability insurance typically covers accidental damage to your property or injuries caused by the company's work. A bond, often called a janitorial or fidelity bond, is typically aimed at theft by the company's workers. Terms and claim processes vary, so ask what each one covers.
